LINDEN — Mrs. Nancy K. Horn, 86, died at 3:15 p. m. Saturday at the residence of Myrtle Rhea in Linden where she had made her home for the past seven years. She had suffered a heart attack Friday. Born March 24, 1870, to Germire and Mary Houts, she was a native of Fountain County. She married Emmett Horn June 18, 1895. He preceded her in death in 1949. Mrs. Horn, who was a member of the New Richmond Christian Church, had resided in the New Richmond and Linden communities since 1920. For the last three years she was employed as a practical nurse in Lafayette. A daughter, Vera, died in childbirth in 1909. The only immediate survivor is a sister, Mrs. Alta Stanton of Indianapolis. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral rites will be held at 10:30 a. m. Tuesday at the Brown Funeral Home in Linden, where friends may call. Officiating at the services will be Rev. Ray Britton of Roachdale, assisted by Rev. B. K. Johnson of Star City. Burial will be in Green Bay Cemetery near Newtown. Ray Britton, assisted by Rev. B. K. Johnson, officiated and burial was in Green Bay Cemetery near Newtown. Those serving as pallbearers and assisting with the flowers were Fred Bible, James DeVault Sr., Forrest Waye, Ora Wagner, Arthur Oliver and Lora Maguire.
